Your Guide to Choosing the Best Accommodation in Singapore

If you are heading to Singapore anytime soon, it is highly recommended that you look for the best accommodation at the earliest so as to ensure that you actually have a pleasant experience out there. While you are it, look for options that do not burn a hole in your pocket. However, do keep in mind that if the chosen room seem too affordable, there may be some terms and conditions that you are yet to refer to.

Here's an example:
  • A room available on twin-sharing basis may cost less
  • A triple-sharing room might cost less than the twin-sharing one

So, when you look for a room, do find out how many people you need to share it with. If for you, the best accommodation in Singapore is a room where you are all by yourself, check the price accordingly. Having said that, if the room is affordably-priced but isn’t ideally located, it may not do any good. Furthermore, a room or rather a hotel that is far from where you are supposed to be, either for business or leisure, you may end up spending a large sum of money on commutation. Look for suitable accommodation in the vicinity.

Other points to consider:
  • Rating: If the chosen accommodation is actually the ‘best’, its rating should say so. The more stars you see, the better the hotel is likely to be.
  • Charges per extra night: At times, you may need to stay in your hotel room longer than you thought you’d, either because of a flight you miss or for some other reason. Find out how much every extra night is going to cost you in terms of accommodation.
